Short Bio
Wisdom Bibbs is a trumpet virtuoso with a passion in R&B influenced trap music. Wisdom started out as a dancer, when he jokingly barged into his mother's dance rehearsal to show off his silly routine. Unfortunately as punishment his mom strongly encouraged him to join a dance team. He later learned to play the guitar and sing in children's choir before ever learning to play a trumpet.Trumpet started as a hobby and later became a natural gift for young Bibbs. A recommendation from his band teacher led to an audition at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, where he later discovered a love for the piano.
In 2014, Bibbs competed in the Alys Stephens Song Writing Competition and was awarded as a grand prize winner. In addition to the grand prize, Wisdom Bibbs was hosted on Fox 6 Good Day Alabama to perform his winning song titled “A.L.A.B.A.M.A.” He also placed first in the 2016 Magic City Rising Stars competition. Wisdom is now a high school graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts. He is now furthering his studies at Samford University, and plans to become an iconic instrumentalist.
